EDTA-Cu offers excellent compatibility and can be combined with most agricultural inputs for synergistic effects. However, scientific mixing rules must be followed to avoid antagonism, deactivation and potential risks.
Best compatible products: It can be safely mixed with seaweed extract, amino acid fertilizer, humic acid, NPK water-soluble fertilizer, neutral and acidic pesticides, and most micronutrients. These combinations improve nutrient utilization, balance crop growth, enhance stress resistance, stabilize flowers and fruits, and boost yield and quality.
Strict incompatibility: Do not mix with strong alkaline pesticides, quicklime and high-alkalinity water-soluble fertilizers. Strong alkaline conditions destroy the EDTA chelated structure, causing copper ion dissociation, fixation and deactivation, which greatly reduces fertilizer efficiency and may cause precipitation and nozzle blockage.
Application tips: As a micronutrient fertilizer, EDTA-Cu should be applied in low doses and multiple times. Over-concentration and excessive application must be avoided to prevent copper accumulation and metabolic disturbance. Foliar spraying is recommended in mild morning or evening hours, avoiding high temperature and intense sunlight for better absorption.
Storage requirements: Store in sealed, dry, cool and ventilated conditions. Avoid moisture, high temperature and direct sunlight to prevent caking and active ingredient attenuation. Proper storage maintains high purity and stable activity throughout the shelf life.
