EDTA-Zn (EDTA chelated zinc) is a high-end water-soluble zinc micronutrient widely used in modern agriculture. Unlike ordinary inorganic zinc fertilizers such as zinc sulfate, EDTA wraps zinc ions inside stable organic molecular structures through chelation technology. This protective molecular lock prevents zinc from soil fixation, precipitation and deactivation.
Traditional inorganic zinc is easily locked and invalidated in alkaline, calcareous and high-phosphate soil conditions, resulting in extremely low absorption efficiency. In contrast, EDTA chelated zinc features outstanding stability and strong pH tolerance. It works reliably in neutral and alkaline soils, offers 100% water solubility, and can be quickly absorbed by roots and leaves via foliar spray, drip irrigation and soil drenching.
Zinc is an essential micronutrient for crop growth. It dominates auxin synthesis, chlorophyll formation, enzyme activation and flower bud differentiation. Supplementing EDTA-Zn fundamentally solves typical zinc deficiency symptoms such as small leaves, clustered leaves, new leaf chlorosis, shortened internodes and stunted growth, making it an essential fertilizer for fruits, vegetables and field crops.
